After I had my son and we had our check in with my OB, she referred me to Sam for lactation support. Sam was able to see me same day and she talked with my husband and I about what we were experiencing. I ended up being engorged because my son had a bad latch that I didn’t know about. Sam is the absolute best! I started as a new physician at GGC this past summer, and moving states and starting a new job while halfway through a pregnancy was daunting. Having Sam with us as our doula made a world of difference! Both pre-natally and post-partum, I can't even imagine life without her. Sam was amazing… she took her time, was not at all rushed with a baby that was more hungry than focusing on pictures, worked well with the entire family! She listened to what we wanted and came up with fabulous ideas! Will definitely use her again. Quick turnaround time on proofs… couldn’t of had a better experience!
Sam is the most wonderful doula, photographer, birth educator, and friend… I could sing her praises all day long! After struggling with infertility and pregnancy loss, I was full of anxiety throughout my pregnancy with our daughter. Not only was Sam a source of support herself but she was able to lead me to a local therapist who specializes in perinatal mental health which helped me tremendously. Sam is so much more than a birth doula. She becomes a close friend and truly cares about you and your family. She was amazing support during labor, and helped me with whatever questions I had during the newborn stage too!
