Marianne C. I was quite nervous about tackling my floors, but Birdseye was great: they scheduled the work so that we could still use one half the space at a time, and were 100% upfront and fair with the estimates and billing, as well as patient in choosing finishes. John has an artistic background, and many good ideas.
Highly Recommend Birdseye We used John to refinish existing floors and install brand new floors to match the old. We are very happy with the results - you can't even tell the difference between the old floors and new floors. John was very detail oriented and was happy to come back when we had some settling occur from our remodel and touch up a few areas. I highly recommend his Birdseye!
Homeowner John and his crew provided superior service and their skill level and quality of work were above anything I could have ever expected. They were able to use their skill and knowledge to customize my hardwood stairs and banister to naturally blend in with my hardwood floors, something I didn't think any professional would be capable of doing. It looks fantastic and has certainly added value to my home.
Birdseye for the win, again. Birdseye just completed my 3rd job with them in 5 years, removing old carpet and refinishing the floors beneath. As always, it is a pleasure to work with them. John is friendly, yet professional and his crew's work is always top-notch, not to mention on time and at a reasonable price. Highly recommended.
A GOOD EXPERIENCE After 3 bids we went with Birdseye and are very happy we did. They met our schedule and were finished with the job on time. We are very happy with the results and pleasantly surprised with the amount of dust residue left behind. Our job consisted of sanding and refinishing floors in the living area, plus tearing out and refinishing the floor in a bedroom. We would not hesitate to use Birdseye again or recommend them to friends.
Would recommend to anyone (and have) We had all the floors in our new house refinished (bedrooms, hall, stairs, living room) and couldn't be more pleased. They did two separate jobs. First time they did the upstairs and stairs while we lived in the living room. No smell, no dust. They came on time and were done when we got home. Second time they worked while we were on vacation. When we got home, couldn't even tell they'd been there. And it's impossible to tell where their work (living room) meets the work done on the floor ... read more
Highly recommend Birdseye is fantastic. They have done 4 jobs for us over about 5 years ranging from very small to quite involved. They recently refinished our entire upstairs fir floors that were painted with lead paint. They were very careful to seal everything off, use HEPA filtration to catch all the dust and wet mop every surface at the end so that I felt perfectly safe to move back in 7 months pregnant and with our toddler. They also rebuilt our staircase, installed a little filler piece to match existing floors downst... read more
Great Work! John and his crew were professional, efficient and they did great work replacing two year old damaged hardwoods in the bedroom of my house. They matched the existing wood so well, Nobody can tell there was ever a problem! I had a sticky situation with a renter that damaged my floors with her moldy futon. John and Ryan answered all of my questions and explained everything perfectly as the repairs went along. They were also very helpful with taking moisture readings, writing a detailed description of the situation ... read more
