Doctor Johnson and his staff are awesome. Call him on Saturday worried sick about my Bearded Dragon, and even though they were booked he still squeezed me in. Been to many vets over the last few year and have never been happy until now! He is now my go to vet... AMAZING!!!
Dr. Johnson and his staff particularly Amy, Ashley, Kyle and Tara were wonderful addressing all my concerns with my rescue dog. They took the time to fit him in early for needed surgery and helped put all my fears to rest. I do agree some procedure could be done cheaper at another location, however, if you are a animal owner/lover like myself I tend to care more about my pets comfort and the quality of work than discounts. I worked for Dr. Johnson at Birdneck Animal Hospital for 3 years. I worked all aspects of the job, including reception, veterinary assistant, as well as managing the clinic. I highly recommend Birdneck Animal Hospital to anyone looking for the utmost care of their pet. Dr. Johnson gives the most thorough, comprehensive exams on patients that I have ever seen. Was lulled into a false sense of friendliness. Last week my old cat started wobbling. Frantically went to Birdneck Animal Hospital Initial x-rays showed hip displacement and arthitic back (that should have been the end of it), but no it wasnt....in our distress we agreed to tons of unneeded tests which brought the cost over $650. All tests came out normal (of course). Next week our HEALTHY dog was scheduled for a ROUTINE checkup. More tests were made without telling us how much they would cost, so we assumed it was included ... read more
