You are welcome to visit a bird you are buying anytime BUT people are not allowed to come in and take birds out of their cages without permission first. Don't assume that because the person who sold you the bird knows who you are that everybody who works there does as well. We have had several stolen birds, people taking birds out and then getting bit, and other incidents. I've been going to Bird Hut for over 10 years now to get my Goffins Cockatoo wings and nails trimmed and they have always been excellent with him and all around very helpful. Great selection of birds and products!

This was a great store to visit. We stopped in after a bird care class nearby and the staff was so friendly. We definitely plan to bring our business here (rather than a store closer to us in the Vancouver area) simply because the two sweet women working in the shop at the time spent time talking with us about the birds and their personalities. Definitely recommend!
This was a beautiful experience. The owner(Sharon) is a wonderful woman who knows her birds! One word of advice, don't come in here on a whim. This is a life long commitment and should be taken very seriously. Sharon knows in a instant if you will be a good bird Mommy or Daddy.
