food was perfect. i chose trout as an entrant and wagyu as a main dish. both prepared perfectly. i asked for wagyu to be served blue and it couldn't be better. wine selection was also nice, not shocking but nice, especially including sweet wines for a dessert. and the only problem... the only problem... was i couldn't ask for ristretto at the end. initially i thought they don't know what is ristretto, so i said espresso would be also ok... and then i heard "you know... we do not serve coffee here"... nevertheless, all the re... read more

Food was well presented and the wait staff were pleasant and efficient. Portions were decent enough, indeed the fried chicken was too much. However, while the food was perfectly edible, it just didn’t have a wow factor. The Brussels were just ok. The farro tasted of the poached egg and not much else. The black sesame sundae was bitter and odd. The ocean trout was the best dish of the evening. We had been to the Michelin starred Plumed Horse in Saratoga three nights earlier, and I think this restaurant suffered a little for u... read more
