About this business

Bird Cafe is the go-to place for a casual, relaxed evening out on the town. Located on the vibrant Sundance Square, the cafe is housed in a historic building dating back to the Victorian times, and has tried to retain that unique character. The walls are peppered by exclusive artwork by local artists, Scott and Stuart Gentling, whos bird portraits form the perfect backdrop for this bird-themed restaurant. The chef-driven menu is the culinary creation of David McMillan. The small plates and delightful appetizers are ideal to ... read more

I ordered steak pot pie and husband ordered rabbit pot pie. I enjoyed mine, although I had the same thing over a week ago and the meat was not chunky (I personally prefer the not chunky steak pot pie). Maybe it a difference in the chefs. My husband really enjoy the rabbit pot pie. We'll definitely order these again (especially when weather gets cooler).

Great location. Awesome outdoor patio on the Square. I ordered the salmon belly omelet special with fresh fruit. I should have asked for more information. It was a good two egg omelet with a cup of diced watermelon. No potatoes or toast. Order something else if you are a big breakfast eater.

Great patio setting but I was disappointed in our meals. There was only three of us and all our meals were lukewarm. We had to eat really fast because have you ever eaten cold eggs. We drove to Bird Cafe from North Arlington because of reviews, I might rethink my options next time.

We didn't have the best experience with the service but our food was good. We had to sit ourselves & wait until they started surviving dinner. Also I was charged for mine & another tables dinner & was never told of the mistake. I found out through the email I got for using my card.

I would have given it four stars but as they don't have domestic beers for guests that want it I give it three

Great atmoshere, wonderful mimosas, food was mediocre. I'd come back but just for drinks.
