Recommendedthe staff is kind, professional, and patient. you will receive excellent care for any eye concerns, or just a good ol' fashioned check up. their new retinal camera is pretty surreal and awesome, and helps avoid the dreaded dilation procedure for a small fee. (worth it to me!) wonderful selection of quality frames and lenses. as a myopic human for 40 years, I recommend everything about Birch Lake Vision Group.
This was my first visit and Dr Lucas was great. He took the time to talk about my eyes and options. He changed my first impression which was not favorable. When I arrived there were three ladies that all seemed like they’d rather be elsewhere. I was asked for my medical insurance card in addition to my eye coverage. I declined and one of the ladies went off about how if I got pink eye I couldn’t just go to urgent care. It was weird and awkward. I have been seen by 3 doctors at both WBL & Blaine sites in the 10+ years I have used their clinics, mostly Dr Grudum (whom I adore). I’ve never had trouble with any appointments, when I feared I had a retinal problem I was immediately seen during a very busy time. I love the friendliness and professionalism of the staff and doctors. I leave with no questions after an appointment. My glasses, both prescription and frames, have always been perfect.
