I understand that the donation center has safety requirements and that staff cannot simply disregard a heart-rate cutoff. My frustration is not with the existence of that policy, but with how my screening and subsequent deferral were handled. It took five attempts to obtain my readings, and three of those attempts resulted in errors. Love the phlebotomists, they’re absolutely hilarious and it’s awesome seeing how well they work together.
Pretty much all the phlebotomists here work quickly and are also like really nice people. shoutout to Spencer he's been a really cool dude every time I've seen him and has a rapport good enough that I forget to even think about the needle
