I've been donating for years at various centers. I only have one good arm to stick and this center requires two – because the first stick must not be good enough. Speaks towards the quality of phlebotomists that they hire . They turned me away because of that, and gave me the generic "drink more water and come back" – as if I haven't been doing this for years and didn't already do that before coming in. I'd recommend avoiding this place and taking the drive to CSL plasma in federal way.
Was not told that I have paper work my doc has to fill out before I can give blood wasted about 5 hours not happy with that
Donate part ok, but one of the phlebotomist said I gave her the "ick" for not rotating my arm in front of me to her coworker. That was when she put the cuff around my arm. Unprofessional.
Thank you Aaliyah for always being so sweet and gentle.!!!! This lady is the best at her job, she’s very comforting and we can always relate about anything, one of my favorite workers in here for sure:) love you boo.
Staff at the donation center is always kind and courteous. I have nothing bad to say whatsoever about the individuals I've interacted with. The Dr behind the scenes, however, doesn't follow the same protocols as the eligibility information they make you read through, which is ridiculous. They will prevent you from donating if you have chronic health conditions, even if they have no impact on the viability of your plasma.
