I was told on the phone that I could just walk in as a new donor . I got there and they told me they are not taking new donors
Absolutely horrible. MEAN staff who will waste your time
I've been donating for years at various centers. I only have one good arm to stick and this center requires two – because the first stick must not be good enough. Speaks towards the quality of phlebotomists that they hire . They turned me away because of that, and gave me the generic "drink more water and come back" – as if I haven't been doing this for years and didn't already do that before coming in. I'd recommend avoiding this place and taking the drive to CSL plasma in federal way.
Was not told that I have paper work my doc has to fill out before I can give blood wasted about 5 hours not happy with that
