I went in for my first plasma donation hoping to make a difference, but it turned out to be a terrible experience. The phlebotomist who handled my procedure was training a new hire, yet she set the machine incorrectly. As a result, it only took my blood and didn’t return any plasma at all. I went in for my first plasma donation with the intention of helping others, but unfortunately, the experience was incredibly frustrating and upsetting. The phlebotomist set the machine incorrectly, which resulted in it taking only my blood and not returning any plasma.
