The online materials for biolife indicate you have a 10 minute window for your appointments. I arrived at 6:06 for a 6pm appointment and found the doors locked. Although people saw me at the door, no one opened it. If you lock the doors at 6pm then make your last appointment at 5:50pm. I drove from work like a bat out of hell to arrive for the appointment within the window. They have donors wait as long as an hour after screening to donate but they cant wait 10 mins in accordance with their own policies.

While donating I was asked by (then pressured) by one of the plasma center technicians, (Hayley) to use a arm for donation I expressed discomfort in using. The result was an additional, and unwanted puncture site that could have been avoided if the donors request relating to their own body took precedent over what made staff's job less taxing. While it is understandable that alternate veins are needed at times to complete donations successfully, it is something entirely different to pressure a donor into doing so solely to ... read more

Never been more disrespected in my life by a woman named Anna and a green haired woman. After waiting an hour and a half I was accused of leaving the building and they refused to let me finish. I told them I never left. She said we have you on video tape. I asked the green haired women to show me and she told me she didn't have to show me anything. I told her again, I never left the building. She told me to leave the building now!!! The only thing I can figure is I'm 63 and Hispanic. As A teacher I get how kids can be rude, ... read more

The Grandville BioLife Rocks!!! I can honestly say everyone here is awesome to work with. It’s dumb near family when you’re in here, and all are here to get you in and out of here without hassle and usually with lots of laughs. “QB” is a standout; I’ve been coming here for almost a decade and she’s been working here that long as well, so we have history. She’s my go-to when it comes to my less than perfect veins; handles them with ease. And she’s my go-to for a good laugh and/or story. She along with her team make coming to... read more

BioLife is BY FAR the worst plasma center in Las Vegas. I can't believe anyone even goes there. I only went 5 times & had to stop. I previously went to Octapharma for 1.5 years without ever having a problem. Octapharma allows you to check-in easily through an app while you're in line but BioLife doesn't have this feature & makes you use a kiosk. Octapharma & other plasma centers give you the freedom to arrive anytime & they easily take care of you quicker than BioLife. BioLife makes you set an exact appointment & stick to it... read more

wish there was a zero star option because giving them 1 star seems too kind. They have absolutely ZERO communication with the people donating. Was told to fill out a fax form by my doctor because I was on depression medicine. So I did and it took biolife over a month to even look at it. I called them a million times and left a dozen messages asking if they received it. They of course never replied. So I had to go in person again. Made me fill out a 30 minute form just to tell me BioLife's didn't approve of the fax form. Was... read more

The following is just my opinion. I'm writing this for those who may be frustrated because your protein is "too low to donate." This happened to me, among so many others. I know that the outside lab testing for protein is not being done right, because I went to my doctor the same day I had my blood drawn at BioLife, and my doctor said my level was "good," which was at 6.7. But I already knew that it would come in high because I ate enough protein. BiloLife said mine was well under 6. And that happened more than once! (I... read more
