I went in for my first plasma donation hoping to make a difference, but it turned out to be a terrible experience. The phlebotomist who handled my procedure was training a new hire, yet she set the machine incorrectly. As a result, it only took my blood and didn’t return any plasma at all. Not only was the mistake serious, but what upset me most was how it was handled. The phlebotomist didn’t apologize, take responsibility, or even explain what happened. She avoided me afterward and left me feeling ignored and uneasy. This... read more

I went in for my first plasma donation with the intention of helping others, but unfortunately, the experience was incredibly frustrating and upsetting. The phlebotomist set the machine incorrectly, which resulted in it taking only my blood and not returning any plasma. What made it worse was the complete lack of accountability—she never apologized, and instead avoided addressing the mistake altogether. I felt ignored, dismissed, and honestly unsafe. This was my first time donating, and I was expecting professionalism and c... read more

The first month I went there, they blew my vein, it happens. A couple days later, I had a weird feeling in the arm and spoke to the nurse who suggested I go to the ER and that Biolife would likely reimburse for it. Numerous calls and emails with the manager resulted in saying that they had told corporate and it was in their hands. A few calls later, she stated that she suggested reimbursement and, again, it was in corporate's hands. It will be 2 years this November. Imagine being told by a manager they have nothing to do wit... read more

Luisa was hostile, combative and made verbal threats against me. I approached the counter and sat down, I was not greeted, I asked “How are you doing today?” Luisa said, “I’m just so done with today”. She did not follow protocol by asking me, “Do you have any gum or candy in your mouth?” like every tech has asked me before taking my temperature before every donation I had. Luisa shoved the thermometer awkwardly in my mouth, it was so far against the left side of my mouth it was clanking against my teeth and not even undernea... read more

I would give 5 stars, but they lose a star for the hematoma they gave me on my second donation. The girl stuck the needle in wrong and they didn’t check on me before it was too late. I was in pain for 3 weeks after this incident and I couldn’t even do the dishes for 3 weeks. I called the location to talk to a nurse and it took them over 5 days to call me back. Definitely shows a lack of care of concern on their part. Once patience are out of their care, they definitely don’t was to deal with them, even if the mistake was on ... read more
