I should have read these reviews before I went. Everyone is right. This place is totally unprofessional, not to mention completely RUDE. Everyone there is on a power trip. I asked one person if they have to go to school for this job, and they said no. Anyone can do it, its on the job training. WOW. Thats comforting isnt it? any joe blow off the street can come in and get trained for a little bit and start stabbing you with needles. Great staff, very friendly, knowledgeable & professional. If someone is posting a bad review it's because they were turned away for being sick, high blood pressure or a high pulse. Don't believe everything that you read on the internet. I've been going here for over a year now & sure you may get someone that pokes through the vein, 1/1000 but whatever you still get paid for it. Very rude and unprofessional staff calling to change an appointment was like pulling teeth and they won't do anything that they don't have to.
I have always had a good experience donating. Everybody there is kind and helpful. I usually prepare for a painful poke but the trained professionals have the poke done before can feel it! Great job bio life!!
I have donated plasma off and on for well over a decade and although I would prefer the walker location the difference in distance takes me to broadmoor if you are thinking about donating you should understand that if you are haveing someone stab you there are risks both locations are 10 times as good as they were 10 yrs.
