I’m gonna be real — this experience left a bad taste in my mouth. I came in just trying to get my ends finished, something that would’ve taken 20–30 minutes max. Instead of just giving a simple yes/no and moving on, the attitude was unnecessary from the start. I went there today because I needed to braid my hair for a photoshoot. I called first and the lady said to go. So I hurried there, upon arrival at about 11:30, I was informed that someone would be coming at twelve to do my hair, I sat there with another client and her daughter for two hours before we were attended too. Their excuse was Ramadan, if that’s the case, close the entire shop until Ramadan is over. I booked appt for 2/25 at 5 pm get there. They tell me to turn around. The person I spoke with left. And no one felt like doing my hair. I called the woman I spoke with and she didn’t have any customer service and I have text message that she confirmed appt. Didn’t have a valid reason. But that she forgot. 10/10 don’t recommend being that I have a special Photo shoot tomorrow. Thanks to Fanta and mayamas on Fremont for squeezing me in.
Prices are high, they overbook and don’t focus on your head so you can finish. They will stop doing your hair to start another persons hair and you’ll be there for fourth days and forty nights before you get done. You’ll get agitated easily from them talking in their language and know that they are talking about you if you ask questions. They do good braids though.
Had a bad experience over the weekend with my older daughter. That braider was unprofessional and my daughter spent 8am-7pm for small knotless with curls. She payed 300 also. I came to this shop today for my baby girl. Communication was good. Very professional and only 3 hrs for the same hair style and very reasonable price. Will definitely be coming back. Amy did my daughter’s hair amazing.
