This is our hometown hospital, so this is where we go for primary care, lab work, specialists, etc. unless referred to Portneuf. BMH is a high caliber hospital for such a small town!
Weight loss clinic is a joke more concerned about money than the patient. They dropped the ball when our out of pocket had been met and put us off until the new year so we now have to pay our full out of pocket. Our choices in south east Idaho suck for medical care so the 2 hour drive to Utah seems pretty good! My recommendation is run far fast away from Bingham!!!
Poor treatment of my 81 year old father after surgery by his night time nurse. She was rude and aggressive. She actually frightened my father. I would not recommend staying at this hospital for anything more than day surgery if it can helped. If so, make sure a family member stays also.
The dealings I have had with BMC and affiliated clinics have been first rate. In fact I moved from a Neurologist in Idaho Falls to one in Blackfoot because of the horrible service here. I'm very glad I did. Thanks BMH

After 20 years of health issues, I have been to hospitals all over the country and even Mexico. Most of my past experiences left me with very little respect for the medical field. After my first visit to Bingham Memorial, I knew they were unique. I saw an NP for a consult and she was great. Very knowledgeable and informative. (While making the appointment the girl on the phone acted like she didn't even know who I was trying to make an appointment with...) On my way out I stopped to pay and the girl at the front desk said there was no charge for a consult. A few weeks later I got a bill for $99. I called to see what it was about and after checking with that office the woman from accounting told me they "do charge for consults and no one at the office would have told ... read more
