My husband has been waiting since 9:00 a.m. for his scheduled surgery. I have been sitting w/ him the entire time. Not only am I upset about this long wait, but this place is so noisy I can’t hear myself think, can’t read, can’t do anything productive w/ the time. I’m tired of hearing conversations about teachers, children, vacations, and every other personal matter those “working” outside this room are discussing. I've been seeing Dr Christensen for almost a year, the PRP injections have been amazing. I went from barely getting around with a cane, to walking up stairs like a normal person. I'm so grateful that the treatments worked so well, and Dr Christensen and his nurse's are awesome to work with.
What an amazing experience at Bingham Memorial hospital today. 1st I walk into day surgery and find my cousin Bucki Williams Hicks working, She was not my nurse but was nearby, that was fun and helped me relax. My nurse had an ISU LPN student with her who did an amazing job starting my IV. Everyone was so kind and thoughtful.
