Dr. Umapathi is a wonderful and dedicated doctor. She has trained all the nurses on the surgical floor at Sibley in proper treatment of her colon patients. She fought for me to get an appointment with a cardiologist for pre op clearance and her office assistant actually called me more than once after hours to help get some issues addressed. They are a wonderful team. I couldn’t have asked for more. And I experienced minimal pain and no complications from my surgery.
Unbelievably compassionate and knowledgeable. She really helped me after some complications from childbirth (when I was in rough shape!). I’m forever grateful!
After it was determined I needed colon surgery, late last year, I began to research the top surgeons in the area. At the conclusion I was fortunate to have found Dr. Bindu Umapathi. The best doctor I ever had. She is very professional, caring and responsive. My procedure went really well and she was there for my post op recovery. Also she is a wonderful and caring human being.
