Dr. Umapathi is an amazing doctor with a rare balance of expertise, compassion and constructive guidance. Regardless of how I feel walking into her office, I always leave feeling confident and reassured under her care. She not only listens but helps me to feel comfortable and confident in listening to myself (and what my body is telling me). I not only feel cared for but also grateful for having her as one of my doctors!
Dr. Umapathi is a wonderful and dedicated doctor. She has trained all the nurses on the surgical floor at Sibley in proper treatment of her colon patients. She fought for me to get an appointment with a cardiologist for pre op clearance and her office assistant actually called me more than once after hours to help get some issues addressed. They are a wonderful team. I couldn’t have asked for more. And I experienced minimal pain and no complications from my surgery.
