Lamb vindaloo was actually heaven
We were passing through as tourists and this was a very nice place to stop and eat. The place was clean, the Indian cuisine was delicious, and the staff friendly! It was nice to sit at the front window and watch the traffic and pedestrians.
I've been a regular customer and had some good meals at Bindass. Was a nice lunch stop to meet friends. What happened? It's an elementary school cafeteria now with the same quality of food. I ordered the lamb meatballs and rice, and the gunpowder fries. Lamb meatballs were rock hard and nearly tasteless. The sauce was disgusting with a bitter, burned aftertaste. Too bad.
Bindaas Bowls and Rolls – A Perfect Spot for Indian Vegetarian Food! What a great place for Indians, especially if you are a vegetarian. We first went to Rasika and were highly disappointed with their policy of not allowing kids. The good thing, though, is that they referred us to Bindaas, and that turned out to be a blessing. The Masala chai here was nothing but a warm water and spices in it, can get even a bit of tea flavor. Charging 4$ for this is senseless.
