RecommendedAwesome service! There was no waiting in line for seating. Took us right in, waitress took our drink order as soon as we were seated. Food was amazing and the service with our waitress Brittany was the best we have had in a very long time.

Conveniently located on Mile Road, a causeway from the beach into Wells proper; Billy’s Chowder House is an excellent dining option for those who want high quality seafood, prepared with innovative techniques. Additionally the speciality beverages prepared by the bar staff are absolutely excellent.
Absolutely horrible!!! Baked haddock was like a steak. Was the chowder broth water? Sad to say this was the worst meal I’ve had in Maine to date!!!!
