Clam chowder is awesome. Waitresses awesome. Happy hour drinks as well... oh the stuffed mushroom caps were amazing

This is our "go to" restaurant. We bring all our company to Billy's Chowder House and they never disappoint. Best seafood in Maine.
We went to Billy’s a few weeks ago for our anniversary dinner. It used to be our favorite place in wells. We have always had great service and food. We were seated and ordered our food and drinks. They brought us out dinner rolls with our salads. The rolls were green with mold. I had already had one before we realized that they were bad. We let our server know and she acted like it was no big deal and they had been slower than normal with Covid. I asked to speak with her manager but the waitress said she was to busy to talk.... read more
Food was great and right at the beach. Service was also good.
