Great atmosphere and a friendly staff. Have never had any bad food. Only complaint is no room for desert.

My fiancee Zainab and I decided to take a 20 minute drive to come here for dinner after looking at the menu to this place from our bedroom of the Benmarl Winery and Vineyard bed & breakfast. For the record, my fiancee Zainab and I highly recommend (Billy Joe's Ribworks) for lunch or dinner if you are in the area. Nachos tasted like they had cheese whiz on them. Really guy? Food lacks something. Atmosphere is great, location is great, parking is plentiful. Menu and chef needs serious improvement. This place could be an off the chart place with just a few minor changes. Mgmt though was very accommodating and offered to turn heat up without asking and we were inside....albeit on a very windy rainy day. This was helpful due to high ceilings. Not a fan of birds flying around inside the restaurant though.
Good atmosphere on the river. Food was good being a barbecue place. Brisket was tender. Beer selection was great �

I brought some out of town friends here and we had a great experience. The staff was very accommodating and sat us right at the railing by the river. The food was, as always, amazing. The manager, Jordan, took the time to come over and make sure that everything was OK and he even offered to take our picture in front off the water! They also give a military discount! Thanks for a great experience for our visitors!
