Dr. Shumate is an exceptionally knowledgeable, responsive, and caring physician. I feel very fortunate to be his patient.

My wife and I have had excellent health care from Dr Shumate. He always listens to how I am experiencing the medical issue and insure we have the right treatment or referral to a specialist. His nurse, Elizabeth is outstanding. What ever needs we have ie Rx refill or referral forms are immediately handled. A well functioning office from receptionist to after visit follow up. We are blessed to have Dr Shumate and Elizabeth on our medical care team.
Very professional, listen to the patient, outstanding in solving issues. Be a patient for 25 years and will continue to be.
