I own a 2020 Mitsubishi Outlander SEL. In the fall of 2023, the radio touchscreen failed completely, rendering the entire infotainment system unusable. Since my factory warranty had expired at that time, I paid out of pocket to replace the unit with a lower-quality aftermarket option. In March 2025, Mitsubishi Motors issued a letter acknowledging this known issue and extended the warranty to cover affected vehicles, offering repairs at no cost.
