Had a total torn retina. Dr. Shaukat was on call and boy was I glad he was he sat down explained everything that needed to be done but told me it was a severe tear and all for the best turned out to be perfect my eyesight is 20/20 if not better totally pleased with the outcome
Dr. Shaukat was excellent & took the best care of me. The doctor made me feel very comfortable. I am a 82-year-old woman and had to have retina surgery. He did an outstanding job and so did the staff.
Dr. Shaukat is a thoroughly attentive physician with a calm demeanor whose faultless surgical precision completely cleared up my vision.
Dr. Shaukat performed retina surgery on my right eye a couple years ago. He is a skilled and experienced surgeon. He has an excellent manner and inspired confidence prior to the surgery and in follow up appointments. I do credit Dr. Shaukat with saving my sight and highly recommend him.
I had a retina detachment in March 2024 that started as a tear thankfully we caught it before it affected my central vision and didn’t affected the macula Dr Shaukat lasered it and placed a gas bubble to hold it in place in the office and he monitor it until I got into surgery to have a virtrectomy and he was able to laser some more tears he is a very caring doctor and saved my vision my vision in that eye is 20/20 and the floaters and gel that was floating around is gone I would highly recommend him for your eye care
