The clientele tends to be more hardcore bikers who ride road bikes with spandex. Thus the focus of the gear in the store tends to be on racing and speed rather than cruising and commuting. Bicycles for everyone The bike Peddler is a great shop for the cyclist who is just beginning or a pro. They are very knowledgable, and can set you up with the bike and gear that is right for you. I was worried about price, going to a small buisness, but thier prices were comparable and the info I got was invaluable
Too Pricy Yes, they definitley carry some specialized equipment and are generally friendly, but my first impression was that of very high prices. They carry good stuff, but are beat by competitors who offer better deals.
