Love the vibes here! The guys are so friendly and helpful. My partner and I just got our first bikes (as adults) and had no idea how to fix them up since we bought them used. Louis helped us out, showed us how to check the tire pressure, clean the chain, and adjust the seating/handlebars. Plus we bought some extra used gear at a good price! Everyone here knows a lot about bikes but were not pretentious or judgy that we were newbies. Just wanted to help us and get us out and biking. Generosity officially has a whole new meaning that was birthed from the kindest soul, Joe, from Bike Oven today. I emailed with Joe after my bike was stolen a few months ago. He found me an awesome bike that he tuned up, biked over 2 hours to UCLA this morning to come deliver the bike to me, told me all about the bike, adjusted the height and suggested I bike around to try it out, and even gave me a few small lights if I decide to brave the LA streets at night after my evening classes.
