We went there for my 40th bday dinner--the place was nice and cozy, the food was great, I love their creme brûlée. There was something for everyone--including our teenager, a 6 year old and my little 1 yr old. The people who work there were wonderful and so gracious and accommodating--we had a 1 year old boy who just wanted to walk around and around--and not one person made us feel uncomfortable. The service was great--everyone was attentive to our needs. So thank you very much--for making my birthday dinner feel so nice! :)

Bijou Cafe is a jewel in Sarasota. Everything about it is first class, the food, the service and the people. Sarasota needs to realise what a gem awaits them on their doorstep.

The Bijou has been a delicious part of downtown, Sarasota for decades. The food is excellent, nutritious and beautifully presented and the staff is beyond compare. Bravo Bijou!
We love the Bijou! The people are great, we appreciate our friend the Manager, Grayson and Melissa are superb! We are there many Fridays to enjoy their Vichyssoise cold soup, I have as a soup and again as dessert. It is marvelous! Our friend Peter is often the Valet and he does a great job! All of this makes for an enjoyable experience!
