We’re very pleased with the food and attention to our needs. Bijou seems to get better every time we dine.

We go to Bijou Cafe for Valentine’s Day. We have gone at other times as well, but, it is our special Valentine’s place. It is upscale yet warm and welcoming. The menu is wonderful with a French flair. They usually have specials as well. The food is prepared to perfection and the presentation is beautiful. The service is excellent. Food IS marvelous... the close proximity to the Theater district keeps the clientele somewhat predictable. We spent Valentines night at table 24, which must be special since the couple next to us loudly protested we ‘got their table’...can’t help but wonder will WE be there when we are that age? For the food, yes. For the opera, decidedly not. So what will the Opera House offer us then? Such was our conversation at table 24, along with our delectable short ribs, cherry and orange Duck, and cappuccino. I’m still sick however ... read more
