My mom switched to him involuntarily when her nephrologist retired. Since seeing him, her kidneys have declined faster than other doctors would expect because he failed to control her blood pressure, actively increased her potassium to the point of her ending up in the ER, and then failed to respond to her pleas for different medication because the ones he prescribed werw not working. Dr. Patel is the only doctor my husband saw who took his complaints seriously and worked to get to the bottom of his medical issue, possibly saving his life. Dr Patel is professional, patient, thorough, and intent on truly helping his patients rather than going through the motions. My husband is blessed to be a patient of Dr. Patel’s and we are very grateful for his care.
