Darrel was out to service my furnace (3-5-25) and noticed my floor drain in the basement was draining slow and wanted me to have it checked. Biggerstaff sent Adam out the next morning. When they tried to open my sewer, they discovered I did have an issue but the major issue was the cities. They contacted the city and had them come out. Wasn't long to get it opened. Jim Johnson from Biggerstaff saved the day by repairing our furnace. Our aging furnace stopped heating on a Friday. The weekend weather forecast was for single digit temperatures when HVAC companies are either closed or charge a premium for weekend service. Had a boiler fail at Holmes Lake Rehabilitation and Care Center. Called Biggerstaff Plumbing for service. Receptionist said that they were extremely busy and would not be able to come out that day. I explained to her that 50 residents were without hot water and this is an emergency. Receptionist said that they would get someone out for service immediately. Biggerstaff was out within the hour. My AC stopped cooling, so I called Biggerstaff at 4:30 pm, the phone was answered promptly and they scheduled a tech to come out the next morning. Jake stopped by, and was polite and fixed our AC promptly (capacitor had gone bad). I asked him to also do a pre-winter furnace check, he agreed, and he replaced a faulty igniter. I would recommend Biggerstaff to friends and family. My turn around time from calling them to a resolution was under 24 hours!
We used them to evaluate our sump pump and Adam, their service technician was outstanding. Able to trouble shoot easily, offer suggestions and was extremely professional. I have already set up annual maintenace with them. Extremely happy.
