Great bread and sandwiches. I get unhappy when Big Sky runs out. :( Nothing else like Big Sky Bakehouse around here - is comparable to Bouchon Bakery in Yountville, CA.
I honestly love this place. The pastries are amazing. You won't find anything like it anywhere in Montana. They are fresh and oh so good. They are open on Sundays now, so please go check them out. You won't be disappointed.
Hands down some of the best breads and pastries in the world! I've tasted baked goods from all across this country and I've tasted my way throughout the motherland of pastries (France) and Big Sky Bakehouse stands up to the best. I lived in Belgium for several years and spent a lot of my free time in Paris. The pastries and breads at Big Sky Bakehouse rival anything I experienced in France, and in most instances surpass them. To me, the test of great pastry is a plain croissant, and those of Big Sky Bakehouse are fantastic: light, buttery and ethereal. Delicious! I have loved everything I have tried. The croissant with pastrami and mustard inside makes my mouth water by just thinking about it! My cousin from California visited me a couple of weeks ago and I made sure to bring him here. He was amazed with the look of the bakery and the food case. Then he ate a croissant and his mind was blown. Keep doing what you're doing.
