Tonight, my son and I stopped in to Big Mike's BBQ Smokehouse for dinner. We were greeted immediately by Laura as we were being seated. Laura went above and beyond to explain the menu to us, learning that this was our first visit. She went and got us our drinks even though this is a self service establishment. We had questions about the menu and Laura even went to get me a sample to try before ordering to make sure I would like my selection. I've tried everything on the menu and I haven't been disappointed yet! My favorites are the ribs and the brisket. The sides a good too, and the people are so friendly. Fantastic!

This place is the hidden foodie gem in Houma. My favorite restaurant for BBQ. The girls their know me by name. Mike and his gang rock it.
We were going to a job to start a iron door project and accidentally slipped in this joint. My God, felt like we hit the food version powerball! It's worth a 2 hour drive alone. Def will be back soon
Hey Mike I read and commented on that post from an unhappy customer. I truly believe that everyone in all jobs have room for improvement. Tonight we ate supper there , everybody was polite, food was great as always. Just saying everybody has bad experiences everywhere. Best news I got my daughter to eat something besides chicken fingers. Please Please open one in Thibodaux!!!
