We love the Big Lynn Lodge! Hoyte runs an excellent facility! The food is great and the rooms are very nice! The view is truly a million dollar view!
Found this place on the Internet a couple of weeks ago and took a chance on it because the amazingly low price included dinner each day and breakfast the next morning. It turned out to be one of the best places that we have stayed. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Views are amazing. Dinners are great and cooked to order breakfasts are wonderful. Staff is friendly. Hoyt (the owner) goes out of his way to ensure that guests get the best experience possible. WE WILL BE BACK!!!
Our fourth year here and gets better every time. Great room, dinner, and breakfast. Definitely check them out.

All the staff members were excellent! low rates amazing views and great breakfast and dinners included with your stay! it is more rustic but hey it's 100 years old! leave from the lodge make a left and you will be right in downtown Little Switzerland and the entrance to the Blue Ridge Parkway in minutes. leave the lodge and make a right and you can be in Spruce Pine in less than 10 minutes! once we got there we did not want to leave to even go to town because the views are absolutely amazing... read more

Amazing views phenomenal staff! We love it here. Try to visit every year! Wonderful food and welcoming atmosphere! My Pawpaw used to deliver milk & eggs here when he was a teenager!! Hoyt is awesome, fun & friendly!!!
RecommendedWe had an awesome time. You feel like you are coming home and you are visiting family. Everyone is friendly and nice. The Mountain View’s are amazing.
