Earlier, I went to Big Lee's BBQ. Let me just say that I will be going there again. The rib tips are amazing! And the owner and staff are some of the nicest people you'd want to meet.
Left Big Lee's 10 minutes ago and I'm in BBQ heaven watching college football now. The ribs fall off the bone, the pulled pork is perfect. The macaroni and cheese top it off with the best sweet tea in town. I highly recommend!

By far the best BBQ in Ocala and I'd even dare to say maybe the best I have ever had. The side of the road location adds to its backyard BBQ appeal and with the scent of smoked meats and charred brisket, it gives Big Lee's the whole experience. From the homemade sides including corn nuggets to the ribs and even down to the banana pudding, everything about this place is spot on. Couldn't be happier to have such a foodie gem so close to home.
