About 8 months ago my wife and I were looking for a vendor for our wedding. I stumbled on Big Lees BBQ and thought we’d sample their food. First taste and it was decided. Big Lee’s BBQ catered the food for our wedding this past weekend and it was amazing. Our guests could not stop talking about the brisket, pulled pork, and macaroni and cheese. My first time there was today. Sorry I missed getting to meet Rashad. I ordered the pulled pork, Kansas city burnt ends, and baked beans. All of them were delicious. The burnt ends did not need any sauce and literally fell apart they were so tender. Of course, I had to get the banana pudding to try. Best I have had. I will definitely be back. The staff was courteous and friendly.
So, we finally went to Big Lee's - Serious About Barbecue today and it was soooooo good! We got there when they opened, they blow a train horn when they open and introduce you to the place and the menu. Everyone that works there is so sweet. We got the garlic and herb sausage, the Kansas city burnt ends, The Kathy, brisket chili and baked beans. It was all delicious! I could definitely make a meal out of just the Kathy (mac and cheese with brisket!) We will be back very very soon!
Just had another delicious BBQ meal! Couldn’t decide what to order, it’s all so good, we ordered the sampler to get it all! Great sides, but I miss the corn nuggets we had three years ago.
