I originally met Big Lees at an event last year. Today I had the chance to stop in for a bite. As I was reading the menu and making my decision, Awsha* started talking to me from the counter. She was so incredibly personable and helped me make my choice. She was engaging and interested in my lunch needs as well as how my day was going. I ate there a few times the food is delicious and addictive
I ordered the Mr Yes, a burger, the Kathy brisket/mac-n-cheese, Italian cream cake and a sweet tea. Well worth the drive to Ocala. Everything was cooked perfectly and all tasted great. Hope he can set up a spot in or near The Villages.
Best burnt ends and pulled pork. Don’t let the outdoor dining fool you. This place is GREAT!
