This is truly one of the Greatest Hole in the wall type establishments that you will ever come to know. The trifecta of Delicious food, Excellent music and atmosphere makes Big Kevs BBQ my new frequent spot. The Owner is a soft spoken gentleman who lets his cookin' do tha talkin' !! He attends to his customers as if family. Can't help but praise him. God bless many more years to come for kev an his family! PS... Try the shrimp, pulled pork, collard greens, peach cobbler a la mode and especially the atmosphere!!

So on our way back to Augusta we stopped here for some relaxing lunch. I decided to try the burnt end burger. Never had it before but it was to die for. Followed that up with some ice cream and it was nap time ;). If you are ever within driving distance it is well worth stopping.
Brisket is to die for!!! Best lunch ever!! Great service too.
I had a sampler of pulled pork, catfish and beef brisket with sides of Brunswick stew and fried okra. Everything was excellent. The stew was especially like what i grew up with. The okra seemed to be breaded in house and was perfect. The beef brisket was simply the best I have ever had anywhere.

I agree with all the other 5-star ratings. The food and service are superb, well worth making a special trip to Madison from Athens, Atlanta, Augusta, Macon and all places in between.

Down home delicious BBQ with a gourmet touch. Warm and friendly, fun staff and Big Kev came over to welcome us. We don't live in town, but we will be back through Madison again and will make a point of stopping by.
