Good folks. Love the ribs and pretty much everything else on the menu. Pretty decent beer selection, too.

Seriously Big Kev’s barbecue is the best barbecue you will ever have, I guarantee it. My parents and I visited Madison to enjoy the beautiful downtown and saw Big Kevs, and every time I visit I come back. It really doesn’t get any better, the quality of the meat and how it’s done is perfect!

Found Big Kev’s BBQ on Yelp. The recommendation did not disappoint. The Brisket and Ribs and chicken and catfish were really really good. Generous portions and really great sides- Brunswick stew, collard greens, Mac and cheese and baked beans are all homemade. The cornbread was fantastic. And oooooh, peach cobbler for dessert! This Ohio family loved the food! Thanks for dinner!
Outstanding pulled pork, collard greens and sweet potato fries! Waitress was very attentive even while restaurant was busy. Owner stopped by our table to get our feedback. He was genuinely kind and interested in our opinion. Restaurant and restroom was clean. Loved that the restaurant was attached to an old railroad caboose!
The best catfish ever!!! The employers are very friendly!!!
