Homemade Chili and hot tasty Fries, Curly Fries, Sweet Potato Fries and Tatar Tots. Milk Shake flavors galore, 6 fresh fruit most of the season. Very Clean Restaurant with Quality food. Normally I don’t have anything bad to say about this place.. but the last few times we have been here it was terrible service. Our hamburger was cold and the bacon was chewy and seemed as if it was scraped off the floor. I never received my French fries and had to wait for a long period of time just to get our food when several people ahead of us hadn’t even gotten theirs either.. The “chicken strip basket” came with Literally10 fries.. I really hope they can get back to what Big Jim’s was! Until then no thanks😢

Great burgers, Tot’s and onion rings.
Waited 10+ minutes, in Drive thru, for a milkshake, that was made and put in the ice cream cooler.. 1 guy tried to hand me a bag of food, then instead of asking about the milkshake, heads to the back.. Very dissappointed with the service.. the guy that handed it out, nearly dropped it on the ground and then slammed the window at me.. So sad, for a place that is an icon of The Dalles..
they were so busy today for the obvious reason that they have amazing burgers, and classic American fast food hand made and real ice cream to boot!
