Brought a deer to them last November , he told me it would be probably April when he got to my deer. He ghosted me. Don’t know what he did with my meat or anything he just straight ghosted me. Just got a deer and will NOT be taking it here. Or recommending them to anyone.

Didn’t receive the last of my sausage order. Only 10 pounds of meat but it’s still owed. Also, I had one elk and 3 deer processed, ALL THE BURGER WAS RANCID, I’m afraid of opening a package of steak. Opened the first package of elk the day I received it, it was really bad. Defrosted a package of deer the next day and same thing. All my meat was clean prior to drop off. The meat had a green slim to it, not sure if machines weren’t cleaned or what? Maybe guts from previous meat??? Called numerous times and still haven’t heard ... read more

Disappointing experience. After not hearing back on day 13 I called to find that they had cut up the small amount of steak that I had requested, but had not begun grinding my burger. I asked if I could come pick up the meat and grind my own burger and they said that would be fine. By the time I got there, they had ground my burger. $415.25 for 106 pounds of elk meat. I won’t be back.

I have hunted in Idaho for 59 years and have patronized most of the wild game processors in the valley. Big Game Specialties is by far the best. The guys are very friendly towards their customers and do excellent work. If I'm lucky enough next year to harvest a deer, I'm definitely taking it to them
