People in Galesburg DO NOT take your car to this company the people or great BUT whoever they have doing there work should be fired , last yr I had a broken drive shift when I got my car back it had a vibration all they could say is that sounds bad an tryed to tell me it was something else , this yr once again I have big problems come to find out the drive shift they put in was welded together along with the fact it was to short, thanks for the extra problems this caused me ,so don’t let the small town friendly faces fool yo... read more
These folks treated us like best friends from the moment we walked in for help. We had a Honda Fit that had serious engine problems and were desperate for someone to give us advice. The Honda dealer wanted over $5000 to repair our engine and Big E's found a better solution for less than half the cost. We've been driving the car for two weeks since the repair and it's working better than ever. What's more, our repair is warranted for a full year, parts and labor! The Honda dealer didn't offer us any guarantee. Thanks Big E's!
Car emergencies are not so bad when you have really great people to help. My wife had a flat tire on her van and when good samaritan tried to help put on the spare it fell off his jack. Across the street was Big E's and they went out of there way to help, multiple employees helped and got her back on the road so she could get her tire replaced. Big E's has a great reputation in Galesburg and for good reason. Not only do they do great work, they are great people.
We were traveling cross country and our van died. They were so kind and were so honest. Thank you Big E’s Auto. We ended up needing a new van and they helped us along the way. Thanks- truly!

My experience with Erv and his staff(Tracy) was awesome. Submitted a email on their website on Sunday and received a call from Erv himself an hour later. My son attends college in Galesburg and Erv showed genuine concern for him being without transportation since we live a couple of hours away.They coordinated the towing and repair of my son's car and even offering him transportation to pickup his car after the repair was completed.
