RecommendedFantastic company with great customer service!
This place is fine for mulch and rocks but DO NOT buy their top soil or compost products. After spending loads of time and money building raised vegetable beds, I made the mistake of bulk ordering from Big Earth to fill the beds. They dumped it off in our yard covered in white Fly, but it was dumped so.... not really sure of what to do at that point I hauled it into my garden and my first season was a disaster. Chris helped us with the flagstone rocks in our project.
I’ve purchase 2pallets of sod that where only 320’ and the second 300’ when they told me they where 400’ sqf. The Bahia grass was in a million pieces , just garbage and dirt. Then I’ve purchase a ton of pea gravel and the deliver half. Real scum bags.
Ordered white granite rocks for our yard. Delivery driver arrived at the wrong time, dumped them on our brand new paver driveway. Manager came by and offered to fix the pavers if there was a problem. We never received a follow up call to check. After spreading the rocks in our yard, spraying them down as instructed, it was clear that we did not receive what we had ordered. We bought sod from Big Earth and it has looked awful from the start. We have tried to work it out with the Sarasota manager but he could care less. You have lost us as a customer and we will share our experience with others.

Hi Jeni, thank you for your feedback. We do not guarantee or warranty sod, because we can’t control the environment it is installed in or the maintenance practices involved in caring for it. Signs stating such are posted all over the store and on our website in multiple locations.
