What began as a summer barbecue cook-off between three friends translated into a successful BBQ venture in Minnesota. The big daddies of barbecue, Ron Whyte, Bob Edmond and Gene Sampson, perfected the art of deliciously made hickory-wood smoked ribs, and have been winning accolades for the same ever since. For amazingly wallet-friendly prices, get yourself generously loaded pulled pork sandwiches, which come with fries and a side. The behemoth Big Daddy Flintsone also comes highly recommended.

Best BBQ around town. Great service, affordable pricing. I'm in love with their BBQ sauce. The new location is awesome. I only wish they would donate all the food they throw away to the homeless people @ Dorothy Day.
Love me some big daddy's , been here 9 years and by far this is the best bq. Fast and friendly service. I among others drive miles to get to this place.
Let me just put it this way it's become a weekly habit. Shipload some sides and a nice relaxed day off . Trust the hype this place is better than many I've tried.

My boyfriend had the pork ribs and chix...he said they were awesome! I had pulled pork sand w/fries and slaw. Fries were a bit to salty for me and bun was a bit dry but all tasted great. Staff was very friendly!! We will b back for sure!!!
Had small order of tips which were good. Got the Flintstone thing and came as a sandwich and was kinda small. $21 for all of it. I can say I did it.
