What began as a summer barbecue cook-off between three friends translated into a successful BBQ venture in Minnesota. The big daddies of barbecue, Ron Whyte, Bob Edmond and Gene Sampson, perfected the art of deliciously made hickory-wood smoked ribs, and have been winning accolades for the same ever since. For amazingly wallet-friendly prices, get yourself generously loaded pulled pork sandwiches, which come with fries and a side. The behemoth Big Daddy Flintsone also comes highly recommended.

Great food and terrific service! This is one of the best BBQ places in the region. The food is delicious - the BBQ chicken I had was savory and smokey. Excellent sides too. The atmosphere here is friendly and welcoming. I'll be coming back to try the ribs. They smelled so tempting!

Love this old school BBQ joint. The rib tips come in some amazing sized potions for the amount of meat - great value to the boatload and shipload. Ribs and chicken are great too. The service is always friendly and knowledgeable. We'll be back for eating on the patio or takeout.
Spicy BBQ sauce delish, ribs perfect and collards yummy.
Absolutely yummy ribs. Shared a full rack with a friend. I wimped out and asked for the mild BBQ sauce. Excellent flavor and yet there was a bit of a peppery kick. The next time I visit St. Paul, I will be back to eat here!
