The food is not consistent. I visited the Big City Tavern approximately 2 years ago and I thought the food was very good. I had family visiting approximately 6 months ago and we decided to go to the Big City Tavern however the food quality was not as good as my first visit. The food was of such poor quality we sent 3 dishes back and ordered something different.
This is a great restaurant for everyone! Its a nice family spot, its a nice date spot, it is great!!! The food is served in large portions !!! I had the macaroni and cheese with lobster meat. And i also had the cobb salad which had avocado, tomato, chopped hardboiled eggs, bacon bits, chicken, and avocado !!!! It was a great experience.
Great food and great atmosphere. I would highly recommend a visit.
