Good food - Terrible service This restaurant is well known in this area for there BBQ. But unfortunately, their also well known for rude service. We continue to eat here for the great stuffed potatoes but wish the customer service would improve. Though the BBQ is good, it is not the best in town(try Whitt's BBQ). The BBQ can also be very unconsistant, sometimes it is extremly dry. PROS: Great BBQ, chicken, and stuffed potatoes CONS: Horrible service - Sometimes BBQ very dry
Good service good food Very good food and nice casual restaurant. Great sides and pies are wonderful. Prices are a little more than some. They have a drive through which gets very busy. Make sure you check your bag, because we have been shorted once. When you want a good sandwhich this is the place to go!!
Check your bag before you leave Big Bob Gibsons has some of the best BBQ around. We like the stuffed pork potatos, ribs and there chicken. But check your bag before you leave. They have a habit of forgetting all your different sauces. They have there own line of white BBQ sauce available in stores. It is YUMMY!
Best Found So Far Bob Gibson's has the best BBQ I found in Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee, Carolinas, Kentucky, Kansas, Texas, Seoul, or Hong Kong. The service is sporadic; sometimes perfect, sometimes mediocre, but never terrible. The meat is always fantastic, the sauces are consistently perfect, the sides are okay, and the place is always busy. We drive from South Florida to Decatur when we want the best BBQ, and always bring some back with us.
Award Winning Food & Sauces! Big Bob's has delicious, award-winning sauces & ribs. The stuffed potatoes are absolutely delicious. They also have full pies that you can take home & the Key Lime is to die for!
