Firstly, I want to say this is sad because I believe this place is currently closed for good as of August 2025. We moved to Stafford not long ago and have visited this restaurant 6 or 7 times for takeout. Pricing was very reasonable for the quality and amount of food received. Their bbq is standout. Beef ribs are delicious. Pork ribs are delicious and tender. The brisket was flavorful, but not as tender as I'd like, but worth trying. The Mac n cheese was delicious as so were the green beans. The food was really good,when I ate it previously. I drove there today, and it looks like they are closed and under construction. Very disappointed sine I drove a hour jus to get there food. I wish the website said they was closed. It still showes open.
I don’t know how this place doesn’t have 1000 reviews… we are new to the area, but love to support local restaurants. This place is the real deal. If you’re looking for deep southern barbecue without all the frills, this is it!! Would love to see more locally owned restaurants like this one come to Stafford.
