RecommendedI would recommend Butler Health System only bc of their nurses and doctors! I am pregnant and I was told if I puked everything up within 24 hours to go to the ER and get fluids. Well I live in kittanning, pa. The lady at the desk kept asking me who my family doctor was. They had been bought out by Butler Health System and I didn’t know if the same doctor ran it. There are so many reasons to be thankful; today, we are so blessed that the pacemaker procedure, though quite unexpected, went well. Carol’s heart is now beating strong and steady, and we’re looking forward to her enjoying life to the fullest! It's a great place to stay
very friendly and Great Nurses and dDoctors
The Labor and Delivery Nurses are excellent and so are the Maternity Nurses! Just had my first child and everything went so good! I highly recommend Butler Hospital and most definitely will be back when the time comes again. I wish I would've got the names of all my nurses!! They're all excellent!!!!

I love the nursing staff at BHS. Granted, my family has only dealt with the ER and Maternity wards, I cannot say enough good about them! As they are the individuals you primarily interact with it makes the whole experience of being miserable much more pleasant.
Their sleep centre is dirty. They don't change the linens on the beds! I woke up this morning to find this out on my pillow. Disgusting!
So I go to Seneca medical center today for treatment of bronchitis and coughing up blood and was told that they could not get me in. O.K wait for it here is the good part. I was told they do have some same day appointments for tomorrow and to call in at exactly 8:00 am tomorrow and maybe I would get one. Really your patient of about 30 years is coughing up blood. You have open appointments available but you won't give it to a patient who is really in need of a Doctor. THAT'S MESSED UP !
