Been taking my son and daughter to him for over 10 years now. With my daughter, he took her down to 1 med from 5 that the other dr had her on...she won't ever "get better" but maintains behavior appropriately. It took awhile to find son's right med, but we have and he is doing great. Only needing to see him for med maintenance for awhile now. Followed this Dr wherever he works: Wichita, Salina, and back to Wichita. Won't go to anyone else unless forced!
I've been seeing Dr Bharati for over 12 years. He is compassionate about my trauma and has always been mindful of my recovery. In 34 years of seeing different psychiatrists all over the country, he's one of the best. He's not going to tell you what you want to hear, he tells you what you need to hear so that you're the best that you can be.
I've only been there once, so not sure of quality of care yet. I just wanted to let people know that this is an addiction center. If you are on any kind of addictive maintenance meds, such as Xanax XR, they *will* take you off. This is actually my goal, so I don't mind, but people should know.
Excellent psych services.
I wouldn't recommend him to anyone. He is more likely to destroy your family rather than help. Trusting him resulted in long-term negative consequences. I would not recommend taking a chance.
