I have rented here since Oct 2014, while the company seems fine the on site manager has harrassed me due to my health. I have fibro and this last winter i was unable to walk. it took until june to diagnose what was wrong and start treatment to remedy it. its almost done. One of the worst place to live and rent . The process to love out has been a hustle . I've been screamed at multiple time over the phone and given endless attitude. Idk how are they still on business. They don't know anything about law or how to handle customers. I gave a 1 star because I cannot give a 0. The ladies on the front desk are so rude and unprofessional I've never been treated in such a disrespectful way. They are very rude, constantly giving incorrect or invalid information. I have been hung up on multiple times by the young lady working the front desk. I believe her name is Vanessa. Other people in the office are obviously sacred of her. The entire process from moving in to moving out was a hassle. Definitely one of the worst business in general that I have ever worked with.<br /> <br /> <br />

i give a zero here 13 yeaes they came in new..someone else moved i ..all of a sudden bed bugs lol..landlord is responsibleunless he can prove who brought them in lol she and i werw were were both charged same over 600.00..scam i9 wanna get my own service here and not allowed wonder why so much bs
THERE IS A REASON FOR MAJORITY 1 STAR REVIEWS. IF YOURE THINKING OF RENTING HERE RUN AWAY AND NEVER LOOK BACK. This place is a literal horror story. I rented from BG lien for 2 years and there wasn't a single good moment. They never cleaned the anything, not the hallways, basement, stairs, windows, carpets or outside. They had the same nasty cobwebs hanging in the halls the whole time I was there. And the whole building had bed bugs twice while I was there. That seems to be a problem with all their properties. There are notes about your inappropriate language and very negative interactions with a half dozen staff members. There is a reason why there are so many 1 star reviews on here and its not by chance. I highly recommend looking elsewhere to rent apartments. Within the first 30 days of moving in here we noticed bed bug bites and immediately brought it to the attention of BG Lein Management. Without any receipt, or any communication for that matter, they slapped a $1000 bill on our monthly billing statement--I searched high and low for exterminators worth $1000 in milwaukee and found nothing. RecommendedI lived at the pilgrim square apartments for a little less then 2 years,(just moved) and have nothing bad to say. Rent was fair, our landlord Jeff was very nice and helpful, and the apartments were pretty decent for the price. Definitely recommend the pilgrim square apartments, the only reason we moved is because we bought a house. Otherwise, we would still be renting here. BG Lein in my opinion is a very decent apartment management team.
How do I describe the disgusting apartment complex my Dad lived in for 20 years!! Let’s start out with the fact we asked for some repairs be made and still after 3 weeks nothing was addressed!! The hall way didn’t have working lights, the stairs in the complex had the filthiest carpet that I’ve ever seen.
